According to the international company IBISWorld, which provides trusted industry research, the bail bond industry was a massive business. In 2021 alone, the bail bond services industry was a $2.3 billion industry, and finding a bail bond company could ensure you get the right service.

But most importantly, it's a service that no matter who you are, you may someday need the services of a bail bond company.



Sometimes you can't avoid being arrested. It doesn't matter whether you're innocent or guilty. What counts is you need to make bail. But it's usually a large amount and how do you come up with the money necessary?

There are three typical options


  • -Asking relatives to put money together for you,

  • -Liquidate some of your life savings or your retirement

  • -Or use a bail bond service.


  • The last option reduces stress, and it allows you to leave jail quickly with very little fuss. It's a cut-and-dry transaction that makes a stressful time a little bit easier.



    How do bail bonds work?



    When you're arrested your release from jail until your court date can often include a cash bail or what is called a surety bond.

    There are a number of different reasons and ways a judge comes up with the amount. You need to pay 100% of it to the jailor to the court. However, a surety bond comes from a bail bond company. The bond company guarantees to the court that you'll show up. The bond company pays the full amount to the court and charges you a 15% fee for the bond.

    A bail bond provides with the money quickly and easily. You don't have to negotiate with the courts, which can be a lengthy process especially if you don't know the bond administrative process.
